Want to join the Event as a featured streamer? Simply stream in the category any time in October and apply the Stream-o-Ween Event Tag for a chance to be featured.

Share Your Stream-o-Ween Recaps

Streamers - your Halloween streams don’t have to end when you go offline. Stream Recaps keep your best moments on your channel page so your community can catch up on the chaos, the jump scares, and the costumes long after the stream ends.

How to access your Recap: After your stream ends, your Recap is automatically created from clips you and your editors made during the broadcast. You can review and edit it anytime from your Creator Dashboard → Stream Summary. Learn more about Stream Recaps here.

Missed your favourite creator’s Halloween streams? Stream Recaps let you catch up on the best moments from costumes, to horror games, jump scares, and everything in between, in minutes.

Use Dual Format to improve your spooky stream experience for your viewers: Dual Format lets you broadcast to both horizontal and vertical viewers at the same time from a single stream. Guidelines & Safety

Being on the front page shelf might mean you experience more traffic than usual in your streams. To keep yourself and your community safe in the instance of an influx of new viewers, we recommend the following safety settings:

  • AutoMod set to Level 2
  • Email and phone chat verification turned on
  • Followers only mode for at least 10 minutes
  • Shield Mode setup (activate only when needed)

Please review your Content Classification Labels to disclose the content you’re streaming. You can find this setting in your “Edit Stream Info” page. You will still appear on the Recommendation Shelf - however remember, there are some categories and content we do not show on the Recommendation Shelf such as Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches & Gambling.

Check out the Twitch Safety Center to learn more about how to keep your stream safe through community guidelines, reporting, moderation, and other information you may be interested in.
