The table is set for Food Month

Get hungry people, because November is Food Month on Twitch and we’ve cooked up a whole feast of new content for the occasion. Read on to see what’s being served up…

First Course

First, we’ve got more classic cooking shows on tap, and we’ll be playing every episode (over 15,000 minutes) back to back to back. It’s all going down on twitch.tv/food for the first 10 days of the month, starting November 1st at 10am PDT. So stop in and see what these chefs have in store. Here’s what’s on the menu:

Flavors of America / Healthy Flavors: Take a tour of America with Chef Jim Coleman. You’ll meet farmers, experts, natives, and sample the tastiest cuisine. Then, Chef Jim prepares a three-course meal, themed for the regional topic. Sometimes, popular regional chefs will join Coleman and prepare some favorite recipes.

Cucina Amore: Join Nick Stellino in a relaxed atmosphere filled with family stories and authentic Italian dishes.

Graham Kerr’s Kitchen: British chef and television personality Graham Kerr has hosted numerous cooking shows popular in both the U.K. and U.S. His emphasis on low-fat cuisine has made him a long-standing favorite among health-conscious cooks.

After this portion of the marathon, stay tuned for special LIVE mac & cheese episode with Graham.

What’s for Dinner?: A humor-based cooking show hosted by Mary Jo Eustace, a Canadian actress, model, singer, and trained sous-chef, and Ken Kostick, a radio/television personality and cookbook author. Come for the dishes, stay for the (friendly?) banter.

Hawaii Cooks with Roy Yamaguchi: Taste the Euro-Asian stylings of Roy Yamaguchi, along with nationally recognized guest chefs using fresh products in easy-to-duplicate recipes.

Second Course

Hungry for more? Perfect, we’ve got a very special treat for you. In addition to our classic cooking show marathon we’re also bringing you a brand new LIVE show that you can cook along with at home.

Introducing ChefShock with ‘Food Network Star’ winner Justin Warner. This two-hour show will air daily, five nights a week on his Twitch channel starting Monday, October 31 at 5:00 pm PT. Every episode, Warner will provide access to the ChefShock meal schedule so viewers can pick up ingredients in advance if they wish to cook alongside him.

Dessert

During Food Month, we’ve also organized a charity event to create a Twitch Creative Cookbook with all proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (further details here). Throughout the month, Twitch will encourage streamers to suggest recipes for a cookbook that will be awarded to donors contributing $5 or more. All channels who fundraise more than $50 for St. Jude in November will receive a special Twitch Creative apron. So let’s all pitch in for this great cause!

Alright, that’s enough talk, let’s eat!
