Thanks for an Amazing TwitchCon 2015!
TwitchCon 2015 was, in one word: Unbelievable. Amazing. Epic. Family. More magnificent than we could have hoped. But maybe the one word that sums it up best is PASSION. That’s what we put in, that’s what you put in. And that passion made this kind of show possible. We love you all, so a big thank you to those who attended in person and watched online, and to those that just kept grinding by broadcasting and watching during the weekend because you love your Twitch community.
More than 20,000 of you attended and over 1.9 million of you watched online. Over 600 Twitch Partners were in attendance. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you ALL for making the inaugural TwitchCon a success!

What We Announced at Keynote
Our CEO Emmett Shear made quite a few product announcements, including Twitch apps for the Sony PlayStation suite of products (PS4, PS3, Vita, and PlayStation TV), the future of private messaging (i.e., Whispers 2.0), video playlists and uploads (coming in 2016), and more. The Merch Store — A mea culpa
Thank you to everyone who got in line at the merch store. We knew people wanted Twitch-branded items, but maybe we underestimated a wee bit. Since this was our first time selling merch at a convention, we definitely learned A LOT, and we promise to get this right in the future. We loved all of your anticipation and excitement, and most of all we really loved your smiles. Thanks so much for your patience, perseverance, and your love of Twitch.
