Twitch Partners with Operation Supply Drop for 4th Annual “8-Bit Salute” Charity Event
Twitch is proud to announce our participation in military gaming charity Operation Supply Drop’s fourth-annual “8-Bit Salute,” a 24-hour gaming marathon to be held May 16–17, 2015. Donations raised during this charity event will fund video game filled care packages, offering much needed diversion and stress relief to combat-zone deployed troops and those recovering in military hospitals.
With anchors including IGN, theChive, Astro Gaming, GAEMS, Polaris and Wargaming, 100s of developers and 1000s of gamers will come together in May for Military Appreciation Month. We want you to join the mission and help Make Fun Where There is None for US and NATO troops, both active-duty and veterans through our multiple global programs.
