Help Viewers Who Speak Your Same Language Find You

We’ve added a “Broadcast Language” setting to your Dashboard. This feature is aimed at connecting you with viewers who speak the same language as you.

To set your broadcast language, do one of the following:

  • On your Dashboard, select your language from the Broadcast Language drop-down list.

  • On your channel page , click Edit at the top of the page near your title and set the Broadcast Language there.

If you do not find your spoken language in the drop-down list, please select Other. This data will help us grow support for this feature beyond the 22 languages available now.

What’s Next: Localized Viewer Updates

In a few weeks, we’ll update this feature so that anyone who uses Twitch in a language that matches your Broadcast Language will be able to find you easier. On both the Games and Channels directories, you will be shown relevant content in your set language first.

To make sure your broadcast shows up for the correct viewers, please update your Broadcast Language now. We’ve put together an in-depth tutorial here (select Language on the top right for translated versions).
