Twitch App for Xbox Available Without Xbox Live Gold This June

Today Xbox Wire announced that coming this June, Xbox Live Gold will no longer be required for popular entertainment apps like Twitch. That’s right, the Twitch app will be available on Xbox One and the Xbox 360 for all!

With the Twitch app for Xbox, you can watch live broadcasts of your favorite games, the best players, and top gaming events from around the world. All on your big screen! On the Xbox One, you can chat and follow the broadcasters that you love, getting notified when they go live.

Also on Xbox One, you can take your Twitch experience to the next level by broadcasting your game play to the world. By adding the Kinect, you can include your perty mug in the shot so the world can watch you rage quit when your Titan falls. And who knows? Maybe you’ll be the next Twitch on Xbox star like My_Goggle!
