Twitch Announces Sponsorship of Lone Star Clash 3

Today we’re proud to announce our official sponsorship of Lone Star Clash 3 (LSC3), an up-and-coming, grassroots esports event taking place on May 3rd & 4th live from Austin, Texas.

The event includes two $15,000 tournaments across League of Legends and StarCraft II. The contestants come from both the world’s premier esports professionals and teams, as well as the strongest collegiate esports hopefuls. League of Legends fans will be able to catch the final four teams in the IvyLoL collegiate finals, while StarCraft fans will get a chance to see one Collegiate StarLeague qualified player go up against the likes of Jaedong and Polt in the main StarCraft 2 tournament.

Alongside sponsoring Lone Star Clash 3, we’re also supporting the two LSC3 StarCraft II qualification tournaments this week by covering 100% of the flights and hotel accommodations for the finalists. The qualifier winners will get a free ride all the way to Austin to participate in this awesome event!
