Twitch Becomes Official Live Streaming Partner of EGX

Twitch, the world’s leading video platform and community for gamers, today announced its role as the official live streaming partner of EGX London and EGX Rezzed, Gamer Network’s upcoming video game conventions. In addition to broadcasting both events, Twitch will have a broadcasting booth on the show floor to provide an international platform for publishers, developers and other members of the gaming industry.

EGX London, formerly known as Eurogamer Expo, focuses on the biggest upcoming PC and console games. It will take place from September 25th-28th this year’s event will feature more than two thousand screens of playable games and a wide range of other activities.

EGX Rezzed is focused on the best of PC and indie gaming, alongside next-generation console titles. It will be held at The NEC in Birmingham from March 28th developer sessions, tournaments, a huge retro arcade and more.

Twitch will have a booth at both events where members from all corners of the gaming industry will be scheduled to take part in live broadcasts. This will ensure gamers unable to attend the convention will still have a window into the software and hardware on display and the opportunity to hear and interact with developers and publishers.
