Awesome Games Done Quick — A Speedrunning Marathon for a Good Cause

Awesome Games Done Quick 2014 is nearly upon us!

Speed Demos Archive presents Awesome Games Done Quick 2014, a 7 day (January 5–11) video game speedrunning marathon benefiting the Prevent Cancer Foundation. See over 150 hours of new and old games done quick as they get obliterated by top players from all across the world. Donate for chances to win prizes, name characters, have the runners complete challenges, or even add whole games to the schedule. AGDQ2013 raised over $400,000 for a good cause — join in this year so we can smash this record and show the world the power of the gaming community!

Twitch is also thrilled to be supporting AGDQ2014 with a donation incentive. For every 1000 viewers at the stream’s maximum concurrent viewership, we will donate $50. That means if the stream tops out at 25,000 max concurrent viewers, it equals a $1,250 donation. 50,000 max ccu = $2,500 donation. And a max donation of $5k if 100,000 concurrent viewers are achieved.
