Highlights in Offline Players

You may have noticed that we’re experimenting with a new way to help your viewers discover highlights from your channel. Offline players will now show-off your recent highlights while you’re offline.

Currently this change is only visible to 20% of users, and we’re already seeing a substantial increase in viewership of your highlights and past broadcasts. In its current form the player will show highlights from other channels if you don’t have at least 6 of your own. We encourage everyone to start using the recently updated highlight tool and help your viewers discover your awesome content when you aren’t broadcasting!

We know that many people currently utilize the offline player to share important information and their personality and we’re going to explore ways of incorporating your offline banner with these changes before we roll anything out to a larger audience.
